Today’s travel photo is of a view across the rooftops of the hilltop town of Montepulciano in Tuscany, Italy. On my latest trip to Italy, I wanted to visit the Val d’Orcia in the south of Tuscany, known for its amazing hilltop towns and stunning green rolling hills that most people picture when they think of Tuscany. Montepulciano is one of the main villages of the region and has preserved its medieval buildings, existing high up on a hilltop as it has for centuries. I took this photo across the rooftops of the village from the top of the Palazzo Communale, the medieval town hall. I was blown away by the beauty of this region of Tuscany and will return to explore more when I get the chance.
Italy is marvelous, nice photo!
Great place to see. You should also consider visiting Albania, a place of many beauties.
