Today’s travel photo is of a local woman selling fresh baguette sandwiches from her boat at Cai Rang Floating Market in Can Tho, Vietnam. My visit to the Cai Rang Floating Market was the highlight of my time in the Mekong Delta. We got to cruise along between the large boats that come from all over to sell their produce, but as we did we were often joined by locals on smaller boats who were selling different items. Some sold drinks, some food and I even saw one guy selling lottery tickets. This lady was selling fresh baguette sandwiches with a variety of different fillings. She didn’t have any luck with business at our boat, so she was soon off to the next boat over to see if they were interested.
