Today’s travel photo is some locals walking along the Mekong Riverfront at sunset in Vientiane, Laos. The riverfront is a happening place at the end of the day in Vientiane. Locals come down to exercise along the great walking path along the river, while others join the very popular aerobics class further along. Closer to the main road a night market is set up and tourists and locals come to browse and eat at the food stalls. If, like me, you enjoy people watching, this is a great location and time of the day in Laos’ capital.
