Today’s travel photo is of the view of the Cameron Valley Tea Estate in the Cameron Highlands, Malaysia. Although it is possible to visit the tea plantations on a tour, or even make your own way on the local transport, we decided to walk to the Cameron Valley Tea Estate from Tanah Rata, located about 4 kilometres away. The walk was well worth it for a view like this, and we were the centre of attention for all of the locals driving past. The tea house located on the main road at the top of the hill serves all kinds of tea, and of course, plenty of food as well. We settled for some mint green tea and scones before having a wander through the estate. It certainly is a beautiful place.
