I haven’t mentioned it before, but I’ve been working on a new design for this blog for some time now and today, after lots of fiddling around, it is finally all up and running. If you’re reading this through the RSS feed in a reader or email, click over to the site to take a look.

I’ve been working with the Thesis theme for a while now and had always intended on switching over from the free theme that I was using, but changing to a completely different theme is a fairly time consuming process. I designed the site with the Thesis theme mostly offline, however there were certain things that I had to do while it was live, so I spent the entire day today going back through every post on the site to make the necessary changes to make them display properly on the new theme.

Anyway, without boring you with all the technical details, I’m pretty happy with the new look. My main goal is to make the blog faster to load and easier to navigate so that you can easily find what you are looking for. There are still a few more minor changes to come, but I’d love to hear what you think of the new look. Do you find it appealing to the eye? Are the font sizes ok? Is there something that you would like to see more of? If you have any suggestions or can see any problems or bugs, send me any email or a tweet and let me know. I’d love to hear from you.

There’s going to be plenty happening on The Road to Anywhere in the new year, and I thought a shiny new look will be a great start.

Cheers!
