The Murray River in Towong in New South Wales, Australia

After a long drive from Canberra through the beautiful snowy mountains of New South Wales, we camped for the night right on the Murray River near Towong. In this photo, I am standing on the New South Wales side of the river, while Towong is in Victoria on the other side. The Murray River is the largest river in Australia, running from near here, all the way inland along the border of New South Wales and Victoria, before making it’s way through South Australia where it enters the sea. There was a lot of water going down this fast flowing river when we were there, so it made for a good long exposure shot as the sun was setting.
