Today’s travel photo is of The Mall in Westminster, London. The Mall is the long, straight road that leads to Buckingham Palace from the Admiralty Arch, which is pedestrianized on Sundays and special holidays. The Mall actually continues through to terminate at the roundabout at Trafalgar Square, where it goes on to become The Strand. If you’re visiting London for the first time, there is no doubt that you will walk along this road at some point.

I remember watching the royal wedding on TV and seeing Will & Kate being driven down the Mall – so many people lining the street 🙂
