Today’s travel photo is of a silvery ocean at sunset on the island of Koh Phangan, Thailand. Koh Phangan is a great place to see the sunset over the sea if you’re on the eastern side of the thin stretch of land that makes up Southern Thailand. I took this photo from the beach just in front of our bungalow. Each afternoon we would sit at the beach with a drink and watch the sun sink down over the water. The sun cast its glow on the water, lighting it up to make it look almost like liquid silver. It’s definitely not a bad way to end the day.
