Today’s travel photo is of a cool rainforest stream in the Cameron Highlands, Malaysia. The cool temperatures of the Cameron Highlands are a welcome relief from the often overbearing humidity that can be experienced in the rest of the country. The water in this mountain stream was actually quite cold.
I took this photo from a bridge that crosses the stream during a hike in the rainforest around Tanah Rata. There are quite a few hiking trails in the area, some of which are quite well maintained. The cool temperatures also make for very comfortable hiking. I’d love to return to the area to explore more of these beautiful rainforest trails.
