When we first decided to travel around Australia in a camper van, one of the places that I wanted to see the most was the Great Ocean Road in Victoria. Running 243km from Torquay to Warrnambool on the south coast, the Great Ocean Road is one of Australia’s most popular tourist attractions, and for very good reason. The road runs along some of the most breathtaking coastal scenery that I have ever seen.

We took two days to drive the road, stopping often along the way to enjoy the wonderful views and camping over night in the popular free camping site at Johanna Beach. This drive was one of the highlights of our trip for sure. I could go on and on about it, but really, my photos can say a lot more than I can, so I hope you enjoy this photo essay of the beauty of the Great Ocean Road.
