Buddhist lanterns at Wat Indraviharn in Bangkok, Thailand

On our first visit to Bangkok, Thailand, we visited Wat Indraviharn completely by accident as we were brought here by the tuk tuk driver who scammed us into going to some tailor shops. Still, we ended up seeing some interesting spots, and I very much doubt that we would have visited Wat Indraviharn if we hadn’t taken up the tuk tuk driver’s generous offer.

The temple’s most iconic symbol is its 32m high standing Buddha which can be viewed from the courtyard in this photo. What I found most beautiful in this area were these lanterns hung everywhere. I can only imagine what it must look like at night when they are all lit up.
