It’s time for another Instagram round up post! Living in Chiang Mai, Thailand for two months is one of the greatest travel experiences that I’ve had. It was the first time that I’ve actually stayed still for an extended period of time while overseas, and during that time I was able to discover the benefits of that kind of slow travel. During that time we were able to develop a routine and simply take the time to live and do everyday things away from the usual hectic sightseeing that accompanies short stays in places. We became locals at restaurants and food stalls, and we visited markets to buy fruit and vegetables instead of souvenirs.

When looking at my photos from my time in Chiang Mai, I’ve noticed that there is a bit of a theme – Food, temples and markets. That is exactly what I think of when I think of Chiang Mai. I actually feel a little homesick now! I hope you enjoy these Instagram photos from Chiang Mai. 🙂
