Today’s travel photo is of some gondolas tied up in San Marco with a view to the island of San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice, Italy. It was a quiet day for the gondoliers of San Marco when we wandered past. Most of their gondolas were waiting, with their bright blue covers pulled across them. The view across to San Giorgio Maggiore and the Guidecca was intriguing. Just another part of Venice that I am yet to explore.
