Today’s travel photo is of the sun rising over Lake Liddell in New South Wales, Australia. During our campervan trip across Australia, we stayed in a lot of absolutely beautiful camping spots, and Lake Liddell was one of them. On this particular morning, Veronika had awoken very early and quickly woke me up to tell me to look out the window. I had to blink a few times to make sure what I was seeing was real. The sun was just rising over the horizon and it was as if it was setting the sky and the lake on fire. It was a truly beautiful sight. I took this photo from the side door of our campervan, so you can see how good our spot was here.

Wooooooow! What an incredible spot you camped at! The fog rising off the lake really does catch all the sun rays and make it look like it’s on fire. The clouds in the sky are amazing too! They add so much atmosphere and interest. Great shot!
