A traditional corner coffee shop in Singapore

Today’s travel photo is of a traditional corner coffee shop in the suburbs of Singapore. I’ve technically been to Singapore a few times, but the longest I have spent there is less than a day, and most of that time was spent sleeping. In fact, I only have three photos from Singapore, and this is one of them. We had an overnight stopover on our way back to Australia from Bangkok, arriving quite late at night. We stayed in a hotel in a picturesque suburb in Singapore, located not too far from the airport so that we could easily catch our flight the next morning. We got up as early as we could and went for a walk in the neighbourhood to get some breakfast. I was pleased to find that like Malaysia, Singapore has these traditional little corner coffee shops where the locals like to have breakfast. We had one last roti canai and a coffee before departing back to Australia, officially ending our six months in Asia.

While eating my breakfast I told myself that next time I come to Singapore, I have to stay for longer.
