Today’s travel photo is of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Lake Tekapo, New Zealand. This is the first photo I have posted from my recent trip to New Zealand’s South Island. This tiny church on the shores of Lake Tekapo is a popular site and has to be the most famous church in New Zealand thanks to its idyllic location. People travel from all over the world to get married here and I can understand why. Standing inside the cosy church, the alter sits beneath a window overlooking a stunning scene of the lake and snow capped mountains. The whole thing would make for the perfect venue for wedding photos.

This church would definitely be a scenic background for a wedding! For a travel adventurer like myself, this would be a perfect photo opportunity. I’ve yet to go to New Zealand, been reading a lot of posts about the place, though recently. Seems to be ranked high among travelers, I think I’d better start planning a travel trip there.

Without a doubt, this chapel would provide a beautiful backdrop for a wedding! I love to travel, therefore this would be the ideal place for me to take pictures. Although I haven’t gone there yet, I’ve recently read a lot of postings about New Zealand. Seems to be well-liked by tourists, therefore I should probably start making travel plans there.
